I am the Winner

28 10 2007

and that means Mama Coral Jean is the loser.

BECAUSE we bought the GREEN Bumberide stroller.

Here’s the story.

Coral really liked the Bumberide stroller.  I really liked the bumberide stroller.  Coral liked RED and I loved the GREEN.

It went to a vote and you people voted RED.  WTF? right… anyways… Coral starts yapping with Laura (my ex’s brother’s wife) on the Facebook and mentions that we want a Bumberide.  Laura says, “Oh My GAWD! I have the green one and I’ll sell it to you.”

So we got green.

I win.

We love our new stroller.  It is very pretty and now I always want to use it BUT we have no baby.  So if you have a baby that you’d lend us to go walking with, we’d love to borrow him/her.

The End.

I am the dentist, Im gonna pull your teeth out…

26 10 2007

So… I have this phobia… of the dentist. I have had it since I was a kid… but my mom used to make me go. Well…. I gues snow Jeremy has to take my mom’s place and lay the heavy on me.

I  got a cavity in my top back left tooth, and then I got pregnant.  You’re supposed to avoid major dental work while pregnant so I figured I would leave it until the baby was born, and deal with it then. Turns out pregnancy expidites all matters of the mouth, and since your teeth take such a beating, my cavity got worse. Way worse.
I was up bawling my eyes out until very very late last night, with the worst pain I have ever experienced in my life. Throbbing on the entire left side of my face. Ok, I decided, dentist time it is.
Fast forward to today. Nervous. I am sitting in my new dentists chair fidgeting and trying to look at every spec on the ceiling to distract myself.
After an initial consult, and an x-ray, Dr. Nelson came in and said “it looks like you have all four of your wisdom teeth, and that cavity is nestled deep into the top left one, so we’ll just pop it out today”

Seriously, two freezing needles later (and the nice kind, where he starts to freeze before the needle is all the way in to avoid any pain) and my VERY LARGE tooth is sitting beside me.  I think Jeremy is still wishing I brought it home with me as a keepsake. Ew.

And my mouth feels amazing. Well… at least until the freezing wears off.

As soon as the little miss is born I will go have the other three taken out.

Turns out the dentist isnt so bad after all…. Who knew?!

Phobia gone.

Time to rest.

12 10 2007

*Ahem*

Miss, I dont know what it is that you’re doing in there, twisting about and wiggling from side to side… but when its three am and I STILL havent fallen asleep, do you think you could just rest for a while??

Im so tired today, guess why!! Seems I havent had enough decompression time yet. Oh well, thats what this weekend will be for. Rest and cookies.

I am getting bigger. I can practically FEEL my belly growing. Actually, I can- it hurts! The ligaments are stretching and its causing quite painful cramping outbursts… not fun for me, or for Jeremy considering he hears ALL about it. Poor guy!

Otherwise though, everything is grand.  I had another doctors appointment yesterday. Dr. Grant says the baby is in the fiftieth percentile, so right smack dab in the middle. And I am right on cue size wise. So there to mean guys who ask me if Im eight months pregnant!!! >:P

I am still bitter about that!

You are a girl, a beebee girl.

1 10 2007

We went to Island Ultrasound this morning. 32 oz of water, and a tummyache later, our baby tumbled across the tv screens, swishing about in my belly.

our baby

We saw your little heart beat rapidly. All four chambers in working order.
We saw your little legs tucked up under your bum, and then tapping yourself in the  forehead, in one quick move. You bendy thing.

Baby leg

Baby kicks

Your teeny, tiny toes.  All ten of them.

Toes

And your face. We actually saw your face today.

Profile

And then, you threw a curveball.
Since the day I found out I was pregnant, I was so certain that you would be a little boy. I dont know why, but I thought you would. Which is why, when the technician told us, a girl, I was stunned. But through the roof, happy.

I am going to have a daughter.

Wow.

Now we are off to celebrate with Chinese food from Mings. Mmmmm.
